I work at Xona where I am leading GNSS Security for Pulsar, the world’s most secure GNSS system. I designed the cryptography for Pulsar signal, supporting (1) navigation telemetry data authentication, (2) ranging authentication with a combinatorial watermark, and (3) navigation telemetry data encryption. More recently, I have leading a team that implements a variety of security-related tasks to Pulsar cloud, ground, and satellite security.
Before Xona, I earned my PhD at Stanford Aeronautics and Astronautics as a member of the Stanford GPS Lab. My thesis focused on the design of cryptography for navigation systems such as SBAS. Before Stanford, I completed my undergraduate studies in Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at UC Berkeley and worked at SpaceX and General Atomics.
My experience includes working on systems involving aircraft, satellites, rockets, drones, and autonomous cars and involving subjects like dynamics, control, estimation, navigation, machine learning, and cryptography.
